Fena: Pirate Princess Episode 1-2 Review

There’s always something about pirates that sparks a deep sense of joy in many people. It’s a topic that comes loaded with preconceptions of adventure, comradery, rebellion, and treasure — an excellent fantasy to loose yourself in. As such, it’s no wonder that Fena: Pirate Princess has garnered the initial attention it’s received and as of the anime’s premiere, I think Fena has deserved its praise.

The Owl House 2×09 Episode Review

In season two, episode nine of The Owl House, “Eclipse Lake”, because Luz is stuck in bed half-hallucinating from the common mold, it’s up to Eda, King ,and Amity to find some Titan’s blood, the mysterious substance that can break through dimensions. But, of course, they aren’t the only ones after the fabled well of magic blood so they sort of team-up with Hunter to get to the blood before Emperor Belos’s forces. Oh, and there’s a lesson about looking at things from other angles craftily woven in there.

The Owl House 2×08 Episode Review

The Owl House season two, episode eight title "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door"

In season two, episode eight of The Owl House, “Knock, Knock, Knockin’ on Hooty’s Door”, feeling unimportant, Hooty tries to help his friends at the Owl House. It is far less comedic than I expected. There were a lot of serious emotions and conversations going on in this episode starring Hooty of all people and actual character progression. There’s twenty-four episodes in this season and the plot so far has been going lightning fast.
